Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia (GMF AeroAsia) has completed the maintenance and reactivation of PK-GLZ, an Airbus A320-214 operated by Indonesian low-cost carrier Citilink.

The project marks the 18th aircraft reactivation completed by GMF AeroAsia in support of customer fleet operational readiness.

According to GMF AeroAsia, the work package included a C-04 check, 6-year check, 12-year check, A-check and return to operation (RTOP) activity.

The company said the project involved a high level of complexity, including material procurement challenges linked to ongoing global aviation supply chain constraints.

GMF AeroAsia said these conditions required cross-functional coordination, adaptive planning and effective operational management to ensure the project could be carried out effectively.

“Behind the complexity, the team ensured that every stage of the work was carried out in accordance with the established quality and safety standards,” the company said on social media.

“For the team involved, the PK-GLZ reactivation project became part of GMF’s continuous effort to maintain fleet operational readiness while supporting the strengthening of the national aviation industry through various reactivation projects carried out over the past year.

“Through cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail in every inspection process, and commitment to quality, the project was successfully completed while maintaining the required quality and safety standards.”

GMF AeroAsia said the completion of the project is expected to support the optimal utilisation of PK-GLZ and allow the aircraft to return to operation without disruption.

The company said the achievement reflects its commitment to maintaining aircraft maintenance service quality while supporting the sustainability of Indonesia’s national aviation ecosystem.
