Sabena technics has appointed Hervé Grandjean as its chief commercial officer and will be part of the group’s executive committee.
Before joining Sabena technics, Grandjean served as head of operations and industrial strategy of the french new nuclear programme at EDF.
Grandjean began his career as an engineer at the French Ministry of Defence, where he spent 15 years leading numerous projects, before becoming the minister’s advisor for industry, then finally taking up the position of spokesman for the Ministry of the Armed Forces.
Philippe Rochet, Sabena technics group’s chief executive, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Hervé in our executive team. We will benefit from his strong track record to enlarge Sabena technics’ business, both in the civilian and military fields.
“We believe he will help us to meet with relevance the future challenges Sabena technics faces.”
Sabena technics is a French independent provider of MRO and modification solutions for civil and military aircraft operators.
