Aircraft engineering and maintenance services provider HAECO has extended its base maintenance support agreement with Cargolux for its Boeing 747-400ERFs.
The extension will run from 2026 to 2028 and will take place at Luxembourg airport where the all-cargo airline’s twin-bay widebody hangar is located alongside 14 in-house support shops.
HAECO has provided base maintenance services to the Cargolux Boeing 747 fleet since 2018 in Xiamen, one of HAECO’s facilities in the Chinese Mainland.
The latest agreement further strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies and underscores HAECO’s deep commitment to delivering exceptional services to its valuable customers.
In addition to base maintenance, HAECO also offers comprehensive line maintenance support to ensure optimal dispatch reliability for Cargolux’s fleet.
Gerald Steinhoff, chief commercial officer at HAECO Group, said: “With round-the-clock maintenance capabilities, HAECO is dedicated to delivering unparalleled maintenance support that enables our airline customers to achieve their operational goals.
“Backed by our world-class facilities, deep technical expertise and commitment to safety and quality, we are proud to forge long-standing partnerships with leading carriers like Cargolux.”
Kevin Guan, chief executive of HAECO Xiamen, said: “Building on the success of the initial cooperation that began in 2018, this new agreement not only reflects Cargolux’s confidence in our services but also highlights our jointly shared commitment to excellence.”
