Under the agreement, HAECO is the first supplier to integrate this cutting-edge system into Safran Aircraft Engines’ existing LEAP engine fleet.
HAECO will also offer storage and housekeeping services for these engines.
The installation of the RBS will be carried out on-wing and near-wing by HAECO’s global engine support team.
HAECO has provided engine services to Safran Aircraft Engines since 2010 at its engine services facility in Xiamen, China. This new extended partnership, which now covers HAECO’s global engine support represents a significant milestone in the collaboration, with HAECO expecting to expand its geographic coverage and engine module support to include LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B engines.
Sandra Nieuwenhuijzen, group director of components and engine services at HAECO, said: “We are proud to be the first partner selected for Safran Aircraft Engine’s RBS retrofit project and look forward to the opportunities it presents for our LEAP engine services.”
