HAECO wins three-year MRO deal with Brussels Airlines

Engineering and maintenance provider, HAECO, has signed a new base maintenance contract to support Brussels Airlines' Airbus A330 fleet.

Engineering and maintenance provider, HAECO, has signed a new base maintenance contract to support Brussels Airlines’ Airbus A330 fleet.

Starting in September 2025, HAECO will provide the support for the first time at its 22-bay hangar facilities in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) until 2028.

Under the agreement, HAECO Hong Kong will serve as the exclusive base maintenance service provider for Brussels Airlines’ entire fleet of 11 Airbus A330-300 widebody aircraft during the winter season, covering C-checks including C1, C2 and 6-years checks.

Gerald Steinhoff, chief commercial officer of HAECO, said: “We sincerely appreciate Brussels Airlines’ trust in our EASA-approved Airbus A330 base maintenance services. With 75 years of experience, HAECO is committed to ensuring the safety and reliability of Brussels Airlines’ fleet while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.”

Since its inception in March 2007, Brussels Airlines has operated as an all-Airbus carrier, now comprising 46 aircraft, including the A319, A320 and A330-300. Based at Brussels Airport in Belgium, the Star Alliance member airline serves over 90 destinations in Europe, North America and Africa.
