Iberia A330 A-check takes TARMAC Aerosave to 2,000 aircraft milestone
TARMAC Aerosave has reached a major milestone with the arrival of its 2,000th aircraft across its sites in Tarbes, Teruel and Toulouse.
The landmark aircraft, an Iberia Airbus A330, arrived at the company’s Tarbes facility for an A-check maintenance visit, commonly referred to as an 18-month inspection.
TARMAC Aerosave said the milestone reflects its growth trajectory and reinforces its position as one of Europe’s leading aircraft lifecycle management providers, covering MRO, aircraft and engine storage, transition services and related support.
The arrival also highlights the strengthening relationship between TARMAC Aerosave and Iberia. In recent months, the company has completed nine 18-month checks for the airline in Tarbes and seven in Teruel, with all aircraft redelivered within 24 hours of arrival.
TARMAC Aerosave said it is continuing to expand its capabilities across a range of high value-added services, including engine changes and modifications on site and outstation, landing gear replacements, A-checks, C-checks, heavy maintenance operations such as 6Y checks, and engine maintenance on CFM, LEAP and GP7200 engines through dedicated workshop facilities.
Alexandre Brun, chief executive of TARMAC Aerosave, said: “This continued expansion reinforces TARMAC Aerosave’s ambition to remain a strategic partner for airlines and lessors worldwide while supporting the aviation industry’s evolving operational and sustainability challenges.”
