Jet AirWerks, a FAA Part 145 repair station specialising in the MRO of jet engine components, has announced it is now offering CFM56-5B/7B engine disassembly and module and accessory gearbox disassembly.
Keith Humphrey, president and chief executive of Jet AirWerks, said: “It’s an exciting time at Jet AirWerks. This project is the largest single investment we’ve made in the company’s 15 years.”
“It’s a great opportunity to overhaul more parts right as they come off of the engine, provide more value to our customers, and create more jobs.”
To support the new project, Jet AirWerks says it has made a multimillion-dollar investment in tooling, support equipment, and making improvements to its primary facility, and in acquiring a second facility to increase gantry space and provide storage of engines and related materials.
Based in Arkansas City, KS, Jet AirWerks provides MRO services for jet engine components from the CFM56, CF6, and CF34 families of engines. Since its founding in 2007, the company says it has overhauled hundreds of thousands of parts for the MRO aftermarket and has grown to around 60 employees.
