LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (LOTAMS) has successfully completed its first D-check on a LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner, marking a major milestone for the company and its operational facility in Rzeszów, Poland.

The extensive heavy maintenance inspection, among the most detailed in an aircraft’s lifecycle, was described by the MRO provider as “a truly historic event for our team, our partners, and the entire MRO sector in the region.”

Announcing the achievement on social media, LOTAMS highlighted that the project involved “months of planning, dedication, and precision by our highly skilled engineers and technicians.” The company called the accomplishment a testament to its growing capabilities and commitment to safety and quality standards.

The successful completion of the Dreamliner D-check underscores LOTAMS’s ambitions to position its Rzeszów facility as a leading centre for widebody aircraft maintenance in Central and Eastern Europe.
