By 2018, she advanced to the role of chief technology officer and became part of Airbus’ executive committee.
Before her time at Airbus, Vittadini began her career as a stress and design engineer at Fairchild Dornier in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, and worked on the Eurofighter Role Equipment Program for AEREA Aircraft Equipment in Milan.
She holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialisation in Aerodynamics from the Politecnico di Milano and an honorary doctorate from Cranfield University (UK).
Vittadini said: “This new role is a privilege for me and I am grateful for the trust.
