MRO provider for business jets, Metrojet HK MRO, has completed a 2,400-hour check and the A, B, C, D track flap roller replacement on a Gulfstream G650 aircraft.

The track flap roller plays a vital role in the take-off and landing of the aircraft, and so the OEMs have a strict requirement for the use of it.

The component must be replaced every 2,400 hours to ensure the safety and flexibility of a flight.

The Metrojet engineering team replaced the flap with OEM-certified tooling. As a Gulfstream Authorised Warranty Facility in Hong Kong, Metrojet HK MRO can provide different maintenance services for the aircraft with the use of specific tools.

The Gulfstream G650 is an ultra-high-speed, ultra-long-range business jet produced by Gulfstream Aerospace and can be configured to carry from 11 to 18 passengers.
