MRO Asia-Pacific: Airinmar to continue component support for Cebu Pacific fleet

Airinmar to continue component support for Cebu Pacific fleet

AAR Corp subsidiary Airinmar has secured a multi-year extension of its support services agreement with Cebu Pacific, continuing a partnership that began in 2022.

The deal covers the full suite of services including aircraft warranty management and value engineering, both designed to complement the Philippine low-cost carrier’s materials management activities.

Airinmar’s role is focused on maximising recovery of warranty entitlements, reducing component repair expenses and helping lower overall maintenance costs.

“Airinmar’s highly regarded warranty management and value engineering services and ability to deliver cost savings and credit recovery have supported us with effective management of maintenance spend as we have expanded our fleet of aircraft,” said Shevantha Weerasekera, vice president for engineering and fleet maintenance at Cebu Pacific. “Airinmar’s ability to customise its solutions to our business needs enables us to relentlessly pursue new ideas and better solutions.”

Matt Davies, general manager of Airinmar, said: “Airinmar is pleased to continue bringing value to Cebu Pacific through our well-proven value engineering and warranty management services. Cebu Pacific has reached a fleet of 100 aircraft with 100+ additional aircraft on order, and we take great pride in supporting the airline through its ongoing growth.”

The airline, one of Asia’s fastest-growing low-cost carriers, has been expanding its fleet to meet demand across its domestic and regional network, while Airinmar continues to strengthen its position as a specialist in component repair cycle management and warranty solutions.

The agreement was announced during the Aviation Week MRO Asia-Pacific 2025 event in Singapore.
