OEMServices and leisure airline of Tunisia, Nouvelair, have signed a multi-year agreement providing full component support for the airline’s A320 fleet.
With the agreement, OEMServices will help to minimise downtime and optimise repair times for the airline.
This summer, Nouvelair received an additional delivery of three Airbus A320 aircraft completing the 10 A320 aircraft it already operates.
The airline has now chosen to secure its operational dispatch reliability by choosing OEMServices as its component services provider. The agreement was signed at this week’s MRO Europe event.
OEMServices is to provide 24/7 component support with spare parts access from its regional pool in Paris Charles de Gaulle, as well as repair services for the Airbus A320 family fleet of aircraft.
The component support solution is in line with Nouvelair’s commitment to ensuring availability and on-time performance of its fleet.
OEMServices’ original model of support backed by major OEMs, ‘Original Integrated Services’, will ensure Nouvelair a supply of inventory 24/7, component repair by flight hour, engineering services and the associated logistics for the airline’s Airbus A320 fleet.
Didier Granger, president of OEMServices, said, “We are very proud to have been selected by Nouvelair, once again demonstrating the strength of our support model combining OEM expertise and our in-depth know-how of MRO services and logistics support.
“Our team is entirely dedicated to providing Nouvelair with the expected level of performance and to participate in their success.”
Chokri Zarrad, chief executive of Nouvelair, said: “Our partnership with OEMServices in the area of component maintenance represents a key element of our success in implementing our growth and expansion strategy.
“By choosing to collaborate with an internationally reputed partner, Nouvelair aims to strengthen its operational efficiency and performance, while guaranteeing the quality of its services.”
