Etihad Engineering has been named the ‘MRO Services Provider of the Year’ in the field of commercial aviation at the Aviation Achievement Awards 2024 held in Dubai, UAE.

Daniel Hoffmann, chief executive of Etihad Engineering, said: “We are honoured to receive the Aviation Achievement Award 2024 for our MRO services and I dedicate it to our hard-working team in Abu Dhabi and valued customers worldwide.”

With a workforce of around 2,000 professionals drawn from more than 50 countries, Etihad Engineering provides industry-leading aircraft MRO services to customers from around the world.

Hoffmann added: “We successfully delivered more than 200 aircraft with high customer satisfaction last year and continue to grow our capabilities and capacity and are geared up to reach even higher in 2024.”

Etihad Engineering recently expanded its site area in Abu Dhabi, adding more parking and hangar space to meet its growing business, and covers a total area of 545,000 sqm.

Furthermore, two new hangars are being built to expand the existing hangar capacity and serve more aircraft and customers from around the world.
