MTU Maintenance Lease Services B.V., the leasing and asset management arm of MTU Maintenance, has opened a new state-of-the-art parts supply warehouse in Zhuhai, China – its third worldwide facility.

The Zhuhai site complements existing warehouses in the US and the Netherlands, creating a connected global logistics network to support operators and MRO providers.

The facility backs key engine programmes including the CF6-80, CFM56-5B/7B, GE90 and V2500, and will supply both MTU Maintenance Zhuhai – the company’s joint venture MRO in Asia – and the wider Asia-Pacific market. Operated by Kuehne+Nagel, the warehouse offers an extensive portfolio of aftermarket material.

The bonded warehouse allows same-day or 24-hour shipment, operating seven days a week, with each delivery supported by digital documentation for compliance and traceability. Kuehne+Nagel handles export, import, warehousing and transport processes, including urgent requirements such as aircraft-on-ground events.

The company’s warehouse network is designed to be scalable and flexible. In 2024, MTU opened a similar facility in Fort Worth, Texas, in partnership with PGL. With Zhuhai now operational, MTU’s global infrastructure spans Europe, the US and Asia.
