EASA Part-145 approved organisation Nomad Technics has been appointed as a new authorised dealer for Gogo, a multi-orbit, multi-band connectivity provider dedicated to business aviation.

Nomad Technics will promote and perform satcom installation, maintenance, and system upgrades for business jet owners and operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The agreement aims to expand customer access to the Gogo suite of purpose-built for business aviation connectivity solutions and added-value services.

Nomad Technics holds approvals for Bombardier Global and Challenger families, as well as for Boeing BBJ and Airbus ACJ types, and will leverage its experience and technical expertise to strengthen the Gogo footprint within the region by introducing the full range of Gogo GEO and LEO connectivity hardware, software and services.

Brigita Vildžiūnienė, director of sales for Nomad Technics, said: “As demand for consistent, global in-flight connectivity continues to grow across business jets and V-VIP Bizliners, we are pleased to support Gogo and, more importantly, our customers.

Thomas Gierlich, chief executive of Nomad Technics, said: “We know our customers will particularly appreciate the ability to optimise the multi-orbit, multi-band options to install connectivity that best suits their mission, improves operational efficiency, and ensures streamlined connectivity management.

“We are pleased to be a part of such a prestigious network and can’t wait to introduce new customers to the Gogo portfolio and work with existing customers to upgrade and future-proof their aircraft connectivity.

“To further strengthen the offering Nomad Technics is also committed to developing supplemental type certificates (STCs) for Gogo equipment across a range of platforms, starting with the FDX for the Boeing 737 BBJ.”
