Embraer has extended its long-term agreement with Republic Airways to continue providing heavy maintenance support for the carrier’s fleet of more than 240 E170 and E175 aircraft.

All work will continue to be performed at Embraer’s Services & Support facilities in Nashville, Tennessee, where Republic Airways has been conducting heavy maintenance on its E-Jets since 2011.

The agreement also includes ongoing component support and drop-in AOG repairs.

Frank Stevens, vice president of MRO services at Embraer Services & Support, said: “This renewed agreement reinforces our commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services to our customers.

“We will continue to prioritise safety and quality for Republic Airways and all our customers across the United States.”

To date, Republic Airways has completed more than 650 heavy maintenance visits and logged over 3.3 million labour hours at Embraer’s Nashville site.

Under the extended deal, Embraer will provide an additional 225 heavy maintenance slots and dedicate three maintenance bays exclusively to Republic Airways, ensuring sustained capacity and scheduling flexibility for the airline’s regional operations.
