Rusada wins software contract from Egypt’s AlMasria Universal Airlines

AlMasria Universal Airlines has selected Rusada’s ‘ENVISION’ software to unify its airworthiness, maintenance and flight operations.

The Egyptian carrier serves destinations across North Africa, Europe and the Middle East from its base in Cairo. AlMasria’s fleet includes Airbus A320s and Boeing 737s.

Rusada’s ENVISION software will manage an array of activities through one solution, with the aim of achieving greater efficiency and cooperation during a planned growth phase, AlMasria said. The airline will implement a range of modules: fleet management for airworthiness, operations control for flight ops, base & line maintenance, and inventory management.

Rusada’s in-house implementation teams will deploy each module in a staged approach, with the aim of ensuring a seamless transition for AlMasria.

“Currently our various operational teams are working on independent, disconnected systems and are not benefiting from the visibility and clarity a one-stop solution can provide,” said  AlMasria Universal Airlines’ CEO technical advisor Ahmed El Zaabalawy.

“The team at Rusada were able to clearly demonstrate how ENVISION could fix this and encourage the cross-department communication and cooperation we’ll need to achieve peak operational efficiency.”

Rusada’s CEO Julian Stourton commented: “I am very pleased to be working with yet another fast-growing airline who understands the value our software can bring. AlMasria have been incredibly forward-thinking in this regard, and this proactive approach ensures they have a system that grows with their fleet, rather than having to play catch-up later down the line.”
