SK AeroSafety Group has acquired UK-based Reheat Aero Limited (Reheat), an independent MRO and aftermarket provider specialising in aircraft galley equipment and cabin interior products, in a move that significantly strengthens its position in the global component repair market.

Founded in 1998, Reheat operates a 16,000 sq ft facility in Alton, Hampshire – within easy reach of all major London airports – and is widely recognised for its technical expertise and customer-focused approach in the interiors MRO space.

SK AeroSafety said the addition of Reheat “represents a major step forward” in its ambition to become the leading global group specialising in aircraft component repair.

“Reheat’s expertise in aircraft galley equipment and cabin interior repair makes it a highly attractive addition to the SK AeroSafety family, expanding our service offerings, increasing scale, and enabling us to better support our joint customers,” the company stated.

The group, which generates more than €100 million in annual revenue and employs over 550 staff across 19 service centres worldwide, provides component MRO services built on ‘service, quality, and reliability’ – all under its core purpose of Keeping Aviation Safe.

The transaction is backed by Bridgepoint, SK AeroSafety’s existing sponsor, which invested in the company in 2023 via its Bridgepoint Development Capital fund. The partnership aims to accelerate SK AeroSafety’s international expansion through targeted acquisitions and operational investment, leveraging Bridgepoint’s global reach and industry expertise.

With Reheat joining the group, SK AeroSafety said it is reinforcing its commitment to delivering best-in-class aviation services and expanding its capabilities to meet evolving customer and market needs.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
