SR Technics and Asiana extend PW4000 maintenance agreement

MRO service provider SR Technics has signed a five-year extension of its PW4000 engine maintenance agreement with Asiana Airlines.

The work on the engines will be carried out at SR Technics’ facilities at Zurich Airport in Switzerland.

SR Technics has been maintaining Asiana Airlines’ fleet of 15 A330 aircraft for the last five years.

Hoon Bae, principal general manager of purchasing at Asiana Airlines, said: “We are pleased to select SR Technics as our PW4168 MRO service provider for another five years.

“We are confident that SR Technics will ensure comprehensive support to our A330 fleet and we are committed to providing our customers with quality service through this partnership.”

“The extension of the PW4000 agreement with Asiana Airlines demonstrates our top quality and reliability, offering our customers impeccable support to their business for many years to come.”

Asiana Airlines is a full-service airline and a member of Star Alliance. It operates 51 international passenger routes, seven domestic passenger routes, and 21 cargo routes throughout Asia, Europe, North America, and Oceania.
