Independent aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions provider, AJW Group, has strengthened its executive leadership team with two key appointments.

Barry Swift has been appointed as chief operating officer, and Clare Brown as senior vice president of finance.

Swift has an impressive track record, including four years of experience as senior vice president of operations at AJW Group.

With expertise spanning multiple sectors, including FMCG, capital equipment, automotive, defence, and aviation, Swift has demonstrated proficiency in operations and supply chain management and the implementation of pioneering supply chain transformation programmes.

Swift’s primary responsibility will be to provide direct support to the board and the UK delivery team, whilst also driving the integration of the delivery function within AJW, fostering close collaboration with the operational team at AJW Technique to optimise in-house capabilities.

Brown brings with her a wealth of experience, having spent seven years at AJW Group as finance director and 25 years in the aviation industry, including a 12-year tenure as finance director at Thomas Cook.

Brown will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s assets, ensuring financial stability, growth, and reinforcing AJW’s commitment to excellence in financial management and strategic planning.

Clyde Buntrock, chief executive of AJW Aviation and AJW Technique, said: “These appointments underscore our commitment to developing and promoting talent and expertise within our organisation.

“The addition of Barry and Clare to the AJW C-Suite team signifies a significant milestone in our journey towards even greater success.”
