Triple Falcon milestone for ExecuJet Australasia

ExecuJet MRO Services Australasia has reached a new operational milestone, with three Dassault Falcon aircraft undergoing heavy maintenance checks concurrently at its Sydney Airport facility – the first time the company has handled such volume simultaneously.

The trio comprises a Falcon 2000EX EASy undergoing a 24-yearly (3C) inspection alongside a full airframe repaint, an Australian-registered Falcon 900EX receiving an ‘out of phase’ check, and a Falcon 900EX EASy in for a scheduled 36-month inspection. The latter is also undergoing on-wing replacement of Honeywell TFE731-60 engine components.

ExecuJet’s status as a Dassault Aviation factory-owned MRO provider, combined with its authorisation as a Honeywell service centre, has enabled the company to deepen its Falcon capabilities in the Australasia and Pacific region.

“This is the first time we’ve had three Falcons in the hangar at once undergoing airframe heavy maintenance checks,” said Grant Ingall, regional vice president of ExecuJet MRO Services Australasia. “It shows that ExecuJet is the preferred MRO service provider for Falcon operators, and it highlights the growing Falcon footprint across Australasia and the Pacific.”

Since Dassault Aviation acquired ExecuJet MRO Services in early 2019, the Australian facility has significantly expanded its Falcon-related activities. Previously handling minimal Falcon work, the site now attributes 15% of its business to Falcon maintenance, with projections indicating that figure will rise to 20% next year.

With more than 120 Falcon aircraft now based in Asia Pacific, ExecuJet’s investment in dedicated capabilities positions it to support the region’s growing demand for OEM-backed business jet maintenance.
