Werner Aero acquires B737-800 for teardown
Werner Aero, an aviation asset management company and an aftermarket supplier of aircraft, aircraft engines, and aircraft spare parts, has acquired a Boeing 737-800 for teardown activity.
The aircraft (MSN 28983) was last operated by Royal Air Maroc and is currently with ecube in Wales where it will be dismantled for spares.
Tony Kondo, executive vice president of Werner Aero, said: “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of another 737-800 for teardown.
“The acquisition adds more inventories to our 737NG spare parts to meet our customers’ demand.
“We continue to acquire A320CEOs/737NGs and E-Jets to keep our inventory levels high enough to provide high-quality services to our customers.”
Commenting on Werner Aero’s LinkedIn post about the news, ecube said: “We’re thrilled to see the arrival of this B737 at our St Athan base.”
Founded in 1993, Werner Aero says it is continuing to establish new facilities around the world to be closer to its customers and to offer them superior personal service.
