Liebherr-Aerospace has delivered its 20,000th repaired component back to a Chinese airline.

The milestone was reached with the delivery of a flow control valve for an A320 belonging to a Chinese operator.

Liebherr said it had been investing in the development of a growing range of OEM maintenance services on air management systems (ATA Chapters 21 and 36) for various airlines operating Airbus, Bombardier and Embraer aircraft over the past five years. Component maintenance services have also been launched for the domestic Comac ARJ21-700.

The company operates an MRO workshop in Shanghai which is supported by facilities in Toulouse, France and Lindenberg, Germany.
