Paris Air Show: AFI KLM E&M sign CF6-80C2 support contract with SF Airlines

AFI KLM E&M and SF Airlines sign contract for providing performance restoration shop visits for seven CF6-80C2 engines.

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) have signed a contract with China’s largest cargo airline, SF Airlines, to provide performance restoration shop visits for seven CF6-80C2 engines.

Through this new cooperation, The two groups formed a partnership 15 years ago and AFI KLM E&M, a multi-product MRO provider, states it has now performed heavy shop visits for 22 of SF Airlines’ engines.

Li Sheng, vice-president of SF Group and CEO of SF Airlines, said: “Year after year and engine after engine, AFI KLM E&M delivers high-level technical services and remains attentive to our needs and expectations.

“The support programme they have designed for our CF6-80C2 engines will contribute directly to the robustness of our operations, and we’re happy to be pursuing and strengthening our partnership.”
