KLM UK Engineering has appointed Perwien Meriwani as managing director, effective 1 July 2021.

Meriwani (pictured above) started her career in 2009 with KLM and has served in several operational management positions, including director aircraft maintenance and VP human resources engineering & maintenance.

“I look forward to working with the team at KLM UK Engineering to further develop and grow our MRO business with focus on customer centricity,” said Meriwani.

“Safety, quality and predictability of maintenance are key factors for guaranteeing operational and financial performance of an airline. My goal is to continuously improve and adapt ourselves to the expectations of our customers.”

KLM UK Engineering is a subsidiary of AFI KLM E&M specialising in maintenance solutions for regional and narrowbody aircraft fleets. It is based in Norwich, UK.
