Serene Air selects AFI KLM E&M for engine maintenance

Pakistani airline Serene Air has chosen AFI KLM E&M to provide maintenance solutions for several engines powering its fleet of A330 and Boeing 737 aircraft.

The MRO has already performed quick turn interventions on three of Serene’s CFM56-7B engines, one of which was upgraded to a full shop visit after more significant defects were identified.

The airline subsequently requested AFI KLM E&M to perform a quick turn on a CF6-80E1.

Serene Air’s technical director Sher Afgan said: “The adaptive offered by AFI KLM E&M is very important for a young company like ours. The availability of the customer support teams, their advice, their technical support and their ability to adjust the maintenance solutions sot our needs were greatly appreciated.”
