SIAEC signs S$1.3bn Services Agreements with Singapore Airlines and Scoot
SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) has signed new Comprehensive Services Agreements with Singapore Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary, Scoot. These agreements replace the previous contracts established in April 2023 and took effect on 1 April 2025.
The agreements, which have an initial term of two years with an option for a one-year extension, cover a wide range of MRO and fleet management support services for both carriers.
Together, the contracts are expected to generate approximately S$1.3 billion in labour revenue over the two-year period – a figure deemed material to SIAEC’s business performance.
In its official statement, SIAEC clarified that none of the directors or controlling shareholders of the involved companies have any direct or indirect interest in the transaction beyond their respective shareholdings.
