SR Technics has announced the appointments of new vice presidents of Asia and the Americas.

David Settergren (pictured above left) joined the MRO company as vice president Asia in November 2020, while Jay Aiken (pictured above right) commenced duties as vice president Americas this month (January 2021). Both report directly to senior vice president Caroline Vandedrinck.

Settergren has over 25 years of experience in the Asia Pacific/Oceania region in both commercial and business jet sectors. He has served in a range of posts at GE Aviation, GECAS, AerSale Inc. and Global Jet Capital, and also founded and became CEO of DS Aviation Consulting.

Aiken has 30 years of experience in aircraft and engine aftermarket commercial MRO sales, leasing and maintenance. Before joining SR Technics, he held numerous roles of increasing responsibilities with Aero Capital Solutions, where he was responsible for sales and leasing in the Americas.

He has also led the Americas engine MRO sales team StandardAero, and held a range of posts at Delta Airlines including TechOps MRO sales, maintenance supervision, project management, flight operations and supply chain.

SR Technics chief executive officer Jean-Marc Lenz commented: “As part of consolidating a robust position on the MRO market, Caroline is building an all-star team that strives to increase the added value for customers.

“As David and Jay have extensive experience in aviation industry business development and commercial activities and are very familiar with their respective regions, we are confident they will help drive growth in our core area of engine maintenance, repair and overhaul activities.”
