Honeywell has selected SR Technics Malaysia to become an authorised licensee for both mechanical and avionics components.

The SR Technics subsidiary has signed a five-year authorised repair & overhaul license agreement with Honeywell to that effect. It will support worldwide air transport and commercial airline customers and engine shops.

“We are very honoured to have been selected as a Honeywell licensee, this reflects the growth of our capabilities and the success of developing home grown talent and expertise here in Malaysia,” said SR Technics Malaysia’s managing director Martin Urwyler.

“As an authorised Honeywell licensee, we will strive to provide even higher levels of service and support for our mutual customers.”

SR Technics Malaysia opened in April 2014, initially focusing on the A320 family, the A330 and A340, and the 737NG, but growing capabilities to include the CFM56 and PW4000 engines.
