Global Crossing Airlines has entered into an agreement with Barfield for the repair and pool support of its A320 and A321 fleet.

The agreement means Barfield, Air France KLM Engineering & Maintenance’s US subsidiary, will become a PBH repair and pool support centre for Global Crossing’s A320s and A321s.

“We are excited to support Global Crossing as they build their operations,” said Barfield’s chief executive officer Hervé Page.

“This is proof that our flexibility to adjust a programme to meet their operations requirements was extremely important. We look forward to this opportunity to work with such a dynamic operation.”

Global Crossing Airlines’ chairman and CEO Ed Wegel commented: “[Barfield] provided us a complete solution for our needs and provided the total flexibility that we need as a small airline with big growth plans. As a multimillion-dollar agreement, this is a key strategic vendor relationship.”
