Emirates has announced it will resume flights to Budapest, Bologna, Dusseldorf, Hamburg and Lyon as it expands its European network.
It will fly to Budapest from 21 October, Bologna, Dusseldorf and Hamburg from 1 November and Lyon from 4 November, expanding its European network to 31 destinations, and offering customers around the world connections via Dubai.
The addition of these five destinations takes Emirates’ global network to 99 destinations, as the airline continues to gradually meet travel demand, while always prioritising the health and safety of its customers, crew and communities.
Flights to and from Budapest and Lyon will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays while flights to and from Bologna, Dusseldorf and Hamburg will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays.
All flights to the five cities will be operated by the Boeing 777- 300ER, providing robust cargo capacity on each flight.
Recently, the airline announced it has introduced self check-in at Dubai airport.
The service is now available to customers travelling to all destinations except to the US, Canada, China, India and Hong Kong due to additional requirements from these destinations.
The 16 new self-service bag drop machines and eight self-service kiosks complement the desks manned by Emirates check-in agents to reduce waiting time for customers during peak periods and improve the customer experience in Dubai.
More self-services facilities are planned to be added in the coming months.
Tickets can be booked on emirates.com, the Emirates App, Emirates sales offices, via travel agents as well as online travel agents.
