AJW Technique Interiors launched to “bring game changing savings and efficiencies to airlines”

AJW Group has launched AJW Technique Interiors after signing a 10-year strategic partnership with Autostop Aviation, owner of the largest seat cover manufacturing facility in Europe.

The launch strengthens the AJW Technique brand, and follows the launch of AJW Technique Europe, an MRO facility near London Gatwick Airport that will begin with a specialisation in battery repair.

AJW Technique Interiors will aim to enhance efficiency with advanced automotive material technology for airlines. Autostop Aviation produces the synthetic leather seat cover ‘SkyLeather’.

Available in any colour and grain, ‘SkyLeather’ is described by the manufacturer as a “cost-effective, lightweight, and unparalleled product boasting advanced durability, soft to touch, antimicrobial and, with easy clean technology”. The Polyurethane synthetic leather is both vegan and eco-friendly.

The new partnership offers airlines lean seat cover manufacturing with embedded Six Sigma principles, practiced as standard in the automotive industry, with 1mm quality tolerances and volume pricing.
