The new seating includes a six-way adjustable headrest and calf rest. It will also feature a BYOD holder integrated into the seat back and USB-C sockets. In addition, Alaska will transition one row of their Economy Class to Premium Class with the assistance of the RECARO Customer Service Team and the modification packages offered.
Retrofitted cabins will also feature the R2, which is a lighter, more modern version of the seat currently in flight and will be equipped with a ‘comfort plus’ cushion.
Alaska Airlines was founded in 1932, flying passengers, mail and cargo on routes in Alaska. Today, the Seattle-based airline flies passengers to more than 120 destinations on an average of 1,300 daily flights.
