Jamco Corporation, which recently launched the world’s first hands-free aircraft lavatory door, has revealed its newest business class seat solution.

The company says its Venture Pristine seat incorporates the latest antimicrobial and antiviral material finish solutions, with every aspect of its trim and finish option maximising cleanliness during flight, making sanitising the seat after use easier and more effective. The solution takes cleanliness a step further, incorporating a variety of modern, hygienic materials and coatings which inhibit the growth of pathogens on all surfaces.

Jamco says it has recognised that every aspect of aircraft cabin design must be sanitary to ensure safety and peace of mind among passengers and crew. The Venture Pristine solution is an option to specifically further enhance the Venture seat, which is already designed with cleanliness and ease of sanitisation in mind.  A full radius, seamless integrated trim and a seamless capacitive interface for the seat controls create fewer split lines and gaps.

According to the company, by minimising split lines and eliminating hard-to-clean gaps and crevices from the back shell, seat controls, and more, the Venture seat is cleaner from the start and easy to clean throughout its lifetime. Furthermore, the Venture seat includes efficiencies from augmented reality training that supports remote contactless training. This eliminates the need for face to face interaction and facilitates a lightweight design with fewer parts, reducing operational costs.
