AMAC Aerospace Switzerland has redelivered an Airbus A320 to its owner after undergoing several modifications at its hangars in Basel, Switzerland.

In a post on LinkedIn, the company said the Head of State aircraft was partially converted from private to commercial operation and underwent heavy maintenance.

“Our team sent both the landing gear and the engines for a shop visit,” the post explained. “They also installed a new broadband connectivity, a Ka-band technology, with AMAC Aerospace STC.”

The aircraft also had an exterior paint change and conducted several modifications to the A320’s cabin.

The social media stated: “The old carpet was removed and replaced with a new one. All lights in the cabin were replaced with LED technology to make the cabin brighter.

“All seats and divans were reupholstered, with designs made by AMAC Aerospace’s in-house designer. Additionally, the galleys underwent modifications.”

AMAC Aerospace Switzerland claims the customer was “very satisfied” with the work and the aircraft was delivered on time and on budget.
