Aircraft storage, disassembly, and transition services provider, ecube, has announced that a new purpose-built hangar facility has been added to its St Athan HQ in Wales.
Designed to accommodate a Boeing 757, ecube states the purpose-built facility will enable the company to grow its service offering at the UK base even further, accommodating transition services across both Airbus and Boeing narrowbody aircraft.
The announcement was made via a post on ecube’s LinkedIn platform on June 3.
The post said: “In February 2022, ecube Maintenance was born offering line maintenance services at our St Athan HQ. This was in direct response to our customers’ requests for active storage programmes.
“In that time, we have grown both our team and our capabilities, and are now delighted to announce the addition of our new hangar facility.”
Simon Nolan, chief operating officer at ecube, said: “This is another great chapter in the story of ecube Maintenance, made possible by the dedication of our team of maintenance experts and the loyalty of our many customers; customers that have asked us to again go further with the services we offer, to ensure we meet all their aircraft transition needs.”
