Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC), Metrojet Limited’s MRO station based in Clark, the Philippines, has successfully obtained the Maintenance Organisation Certificate (AMO) issued by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of Korea.

Following a successful on-site audit by Korean Authority Inspectors, MEC is now certified to conduct repair, maintenance and modifications on Korean-registered (HL) Gulfstream G650ER and Gulfstream G550 aircraft.

MEC possesses a variety of tooling and ground support equipment, skilled personnel, and an extensive technical database to offer expert aircraft maintenance services.

Established in 2012 MEC moved to its current location in 2021. The 26,000 sqm hangar parking and maintenance facility has been designed to provide a world-class customer experience whilst maximising safety and productivity in all services to support aircraft activities.

The maintenance facility already has approvals from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), the Federal Aviation Administration in the United States (US FAA) and several major aviation authorities.

Moving forward, MEC says it is committed to further developing its team and expanding its capabilities to ensure its clients receive top-notch service, even beyond the Clark region.
