At this year’s Farnborough International Airshow, Aviation Business News got a hand-on insight into the latest application of intelligent technologies developed by Tata Consultancy Services. 

In their chalet at the biennial show, we were given a demonstration of how a robotic dog is able to perform inspections of aircraft parts to find damage or wear and tear that needs addressing.

But it’s not just about discovering the issues that needs to be addressed. Using embodied intelligence, combined with physical and agentic AI the technology senses, acts, and reasons, closing the loop on problem detection to solving.

We also see how the human is kept in the loop using consumer wearable technology Meta Glasses to guide engineers to the right information and the right solution quickly and efficiently by digitally connecting MRO operatives to information and supply chain management.
