Flag-carrier TAAG Angola Airlines, has entered into a partnership with BYOD provider AirFi, to deploy its portable streaming inflight entertainment solution across the airline’s mixed fleet of long-haul and regional aircraft.
The airline operates a diverse fleet spanning regional, medium- and long-haul aircraft, including Airbus A220s, Boeing 737s, 777s and 787 Dreamliners, as well as De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops, making this deployment unusual in terms of the variety of aircraft outfitted with IFE over a short period of time.
Laura Rösges, CEO of AirFi, said, “We are proud to support TAAG Angola Airlines in enhancing its inflight offering. TAAG’s bold, future-focused approach is perfectly aligned with our mission to transform how passengers connect and engage in the air.”
