Recaro Holding has renamed South Africa-based AAT Composites as Recaro Composites, as the group increases its focus on lightweight composite technologies for seating and mobility applications.
Based in Cape Town, the company brings more than 40 years of experience in the design, development and manufacture of composite components. The rebranding aligns the business more closely with the Recaro Group and its divisions.
According to the company, integrating composite expertise within the group will support the development of next-generation lightweight aircraft seating.
The company also sees opportunities in emerging mobility markets such as eVTOL aircraft.
