UK-based seat manufacturer Starling Aerospace will display two new ranges of aircraft seats at AIX next month.

SA4000 is an economy class seat, which Starling says has been designed with a focus on weight efficiency, enhanced comfort, durability and simplified maintenance.

Meanwhile,  the SA5000 is a dual ‘club style’ platform, featuring in-house engineered modular architecture, advanced connectivity integration and bespoke comfort options.

In addition to these models, the company is developing a customisable seat for private jet operators, called the SA6000. This will feature 357degree rotation, handcrafted luxury materials, integrated smart controls, and flexible configuration options.

The SA-designated seating portfolio has been engineered with cross-platform adaptability in mind, including compatibility with Airbus, Boeing, Cessna and Embraer cabin geometries, and other private jet models.

Coinciding with introducing its new seating range, the company has announced Boeing approved supplier status. Starling already holds the necessary approvals and technical capability to design, engineer, manufacture, and certify interior monuments for Boeing commercial platforms.
