The Emirates Group has reported a strong performance from Emirates SkyCargo in its 2025-2026 Annual Report, with the cargo division carrying 2.4 million tonnes of freight during the year, up 3% compared to the previous year.

The airline said the delivery of five new Boeing 777F aircraft helped increase freighter capacity by 13%, despite what it described as a challenging market environment.

Emirates SkyCargo generated revenue of AED 16.2 billion (US$4.4 billion), accounting for 12% of Emirates’ total revenue for the year.

Cargo yield per Freight Tonne Kilometre (FTKM) declined by 3%, which the company attributed to wider market pressure and the impact of tariffs on global trade, particularly within the eCommerce sector.

The cargo division said its performance reflected continued customer demand for its specialist logistics products, alongside the strength of Emirates’ global network and Dubai’s intermodal logistics infrastructure.

During the year, Emirates SkyCargo expanded its freighter network to 44 destinations, adding new services to Bangkok, Budapest, Liege and Tokyo Narita, while also increasing frequencies on existing routes and expanding its trucking network.

The carrier also continued to develop specialist cargo solutions as part of its long-term growth strategy. This included the launch of Emirates Courier Express, a new cross-border door-to-door delivery product, as well as a dedicated Aerospace and Engineering logistics suite designed to support the movement of time-critical components for the aviation, engineering, defence and space sectors.

At the end of March 2026, Emirates SkyCargo’s freighter fleet stood at 13 Boeing 777Fs, with a further eight aircraft still pending delivery.
