LOT Cargo has secured IATA CEIV Pharma recertification, reaffirming its compliance with international standards for the handling and transportation of pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
The air freight division of LOT Polish Airlines said the recertification confirms that its processes, infrastructure and handling procedures continue to meet the requirements of IATA’s Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma) programme.
The certification is designed to support the safe and reliable transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical shipments throughout the air cargo supply chain.
LOT Cargo said in a social media announcement: “The recertification confirms that our processes, infrastructure and handling procedures continue to meet the rigorous requirements of the IATA CEIV Pharma programme, ensuring the safe, reliable and quality-driven transportation of temperature-sensitive shipments.
“For our customers and partners, this means continued confidence that their pharmaceutical cargo is handled according to internationally recognised industry standards – throughout every stage of the transport process.
“At LOT Cargo, we remain committed to delivering reliable pharmaceutical logistics solutions while continuously improving our quality, operational excellence and customer experience.”
LOT Cargo transports freight in the belly holds of aircraft operated by LOT Polish Airlines.
