Uzbekistan-based cargo airline My Freighter has received ACC3 designation from the UK Department for Transport (DfT), enabling it to transport cargo from Tashkent to the UK in compliance with UK aviation security requirements.

The designation confirms that the carrier, part of Centrum Holding, meets the required security standards for air cargo entering the UK from a third country.

My Freighter described the approval as a significant milestone in its efforts to strengthen connections between East and West.

“Now that we can officially operate in the United Kingdom, we see this as a huge milestone in our journey in connecting East and West,” the airline said.

“This security designation allows us to provide our partners an opportunity to secure, compliant cargo from Tashkent to the UK. A new direct link for shippers and forwarders in Uzbekistan and the wider region is another step in growing our network.”

The approval follows several recent developments in the airline’s expansion strategy, including the addition of a Boeing 767-300F freighter to increase cargo capacity and strengthen connections between Europe and Asia through its Tashkent hub.

My Freighter has also expanded its partnership with Baltic Ground Services (BGS), awarding the aviation services provider fuel supply and ground handling contracts at Ostrava Airport in the Czech Republic, Tallinn Airport in Estonia and Riga Airport in Latvia.
