Saudia Cargo has expanded its international freighter network with the launch of a new scheduled service connecting Dhaka, Bangladesh, with Frankfurt, Germany.
The twice-weekly service commenced on August 14, 2026 and provides a direct air cargo connection between the Asian manufacturing hub and one of Europe’s major logistics gateways.
Saudia Cargo said the route will provide faster and more reliable transit times for international shipments and improve access to major consumer and industrial markets across Europe.
Dhaka is a significant manufacturing and export hub, particularly for ready-made garments, textiles and perishables, while Frankfurt provides onward access to markets across Europe.
The new service will support the movement of commodities including textiles, pharmaceuticals, industrial equipment and e-commerce shipments between Asia and Europe.
The route forms part of Saudia Cargo’s wider network expansion strategy. The carrier said it has transported more than 570,000 tonnes of cargo across over 90 international destinations.
Saudia Cargo is also investing in additional freighter capacity, having recently agreed to acquire four Boeing 777-200 freighters to support the expansion of its global network.
