SolitAir adds Jinan to China cargo network

Dubai-based cargo carrier SolitAir has launched a new route connecting its Dubai World Central (DWC) hub with Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport (TSN), expanding its presence in China.

The inaugural flight carried a VIP cargo shipment, highlighting the new corridor’s role in supporting bespoke, secure and time-critical air freight requirements.

SolitAir said that China has become an increasingly important market within its growth strategy, and the Jinan route marks another key step in expanding its connectivity across the country.

Hamdi Osman, founder and CEO of SolitAir, said: “China continues to be one of the most important growth markets for global trade and expanding our network to Jinan reflects our commitment to serving the evolving needs of our customers.”

The Jinan route builds on SolitAir’s existing operations to Hong Kong and Urumqi and follows the carrier’s recent expansion into Europe with the launch of services to Sofia, Bulgaria.

Since beginning operations in October 2024, SolitAir has grown its network to 57 routes across 34 countries, including a 17-city network in Africa. The carrier continues to expand its network across trade corridors linking Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
