London Biggin Hill Airport has welcomed its first dedicated air ambulance, an advanced Pilatus PC-12 NGX, operated by SkyCare Repatriation.

The airport says the aircraft’s arrival marks a significant milestone in its aviation and healthcare offerings.

The PC-12 NGX will primarily undertake critical care missions across Europe, catering to health services, insurance providers, and self-funding patients.

SkyCare Repatriation’s global operations also ensure that medical repatriation is available worldwide, connecting patients to life-saving care wherever it’s needed.

Robert Walters, commercial director at London Biggin Hill Airport, said: “By basing its operations at London Biggin Hill Airport, SkyCare Repatriation will benefit from our extensive network of resident companies, including an on-site Pilatus service centre. We’re excited to see this aircraft in action, supporting vital missions and providing life-saving services.”

In addition to the air ambulance, SkyCare Repatriation also operates ground ambulances based at London Biggin Hill Airport, providing seamless medical transportation solutions on the ground to complement its air services.
