Oman’s low-cost airline, SalamAir, will be incorporating OASES’s latest aviation maintenance software, Release 11, to provide enhanced security and operational efficiency for its Airbus fleet.

As a growing airline, serving six domestic locations in Oman and 39 cities abroad, the new partnership will be an opportunity for SalamAir to elevate its security software system with a company that has been in the industry for over 50 years.

“We reviewed several software options and conducted a thorough investigation to find the system most suited to our needs. We decided to work with OASES due to their robust functionality, their experienced Implementation Team and the value we expect to get for the cost for the system,” said Saleh Abdullah Al Abri, head of SalamAir’s contracts and supply chain.

With OASES as its new software provider, SalamAir will have access to other programs in its network including OASES Gateway, OASES Academy, and the Maintenance Control module that all serve to streamline communication of data, manage work orders, and improve flight schedules integration.

OASES’ Group managing director, Paul Lynch, said of the partnership: “We are delighted to welcome SalamAir and further our position in the Middle East. We’re confident that the new features in Release 11, alongside the existing functionality of the OASES suite, will significantly benefit SalamAir’s operations.”
