UAS expands U.S. border services offering to five more airports

UAS International Trip Support (UAS), a global aviation solution provider, has announced the addition of five more airports to its U.S. Customs and Border Protections (CBP) Reimbursable Services Program (RSP) offering.

The airports are Salt Lake City International (KSLC), Utah, Buffalo Niagara International (KBUF), New York, Denver International (KDEN), Colorado, San Francisco International (KSFO), California, and Kona International Keahole (PHKO), Hawaii.

The expansion brings the total number of UAS RSP airports 30.

As a member of the RSP, UAS can request and pay for CBP overtime services at approved U.S entry ports where operation hours are limited.

This is meant to enhance operational flexibility and efficiency for UAS clients by allowing overseas flights to reach their preferred destination directly, instead of relying on CBP’s designated hours.

Abdul Charafeddin, UAS executive vice president for the Americas, said of the new airports: “Our clients appreciate the extra flexibility and freedom they enjoy through our RSP service offering. Our Houston team is standing by to make their operations even more efficient and seamless and as experts in U.S. Customs and Border Protection procedures, we will ensure compliance and mitigate any impediments or challenges that could impact operations.”
