Vietnam Airlines has announced its summer 2025 and winter 2025-2026 schedules from London Heathrow.

The airline will operate three weekly direct flights to Hanoi, and two to Ho Chi Minh City from April 28, on its next-generation Boeing B787-9 Dreamliners. On October 26, 2025, the routes will return to their current schedule with daily flight frequencies.

From June 1, the flag carrier will launch four weekly flights on its Airbus A321 between Ho Chi Minh City and Denpasar Bali, rising to seven per week in July. The new route marks Vietnam Airlines’ second direct connection between Vietnam and Indonesia and brings the total number of flights between the two, to 14 per week.

In addition, the airline will begin thrice-weekly services from Milan to Hanoi on its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with plans to introduce a Ho Chi Minh to Milan route as well.

The new flights will make Vietnam Airlines the first airline in the nation to offer direct flights to Italy, and boost its total number of European routes to nine.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines offers the only nonstop flights between the UK and Vietnam, operating out of Heathrow Terminal 4. Outbound flights from London include connections via Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to other destinations in Vietnam, Australia, and Asia. This includes countries like Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Suth Koree, and Japan.
